About Bot-Hosting Incident Tracking

The Bot-Hosting status page maintains a complete incident history for all monitored services. Every service outage, degradation event, and scheduled maintenance window is recorded with a detailed timeline of updates. This transparency helps Bot-Hosting users understand past issues and provides accountability for service reliability. Return to the main status dashboard to see current service status, or check the uptime history for daily reliability data.

Incident Severity Levels

Bot-Hosting classifies incidents by severity to help users understand the impact of each event. Critical incidents affect multiple services or the entire platform. Major incidents impact a single service category such as all free nodes or all websites. Minor incidents affect individual monitors with limited user impact. Maintenance events are scheduled windows where services are intentionally taken offline for upgrades.

How Incidents Are Reported

When the Bot-Hosting monitoring system detects a service outage or performance degradation, an incident is created. Admins then investigate the root cause, apply fixes, and provide status updates at regular intervals. Each update includes a timestamp and status change, creating a complete audit trail from initial detection through resolution.

Incident Resolution Process

Bot-Hosting follows a structured incident response process. After an incident is detected and classified, the response team investigates the root cause, implements a fix, and verifies that all affected services have returned to operational status. The incident is then marked as resolved with a final summary. Each incident page shows the full timeline of updates from detection to resolution.

Incident Statistics

The status page tracks key incident metrics including total incidents over the past 30 and 90 days, average resolution time, and the date of the most recent incident. These metrics provide an ongoing measure of Bot-Hosting infrastructure reliability.

Discord Webhook Alerts

Bot-Hosting users can configure Discord webhook alerts to receive real-time notifications when incidents are created, updated, or resolved. The webhook system supports priority monitor selection and alert type filtering, ensuring that users receive relevant notifications for the Bot-Hosting services they depend on.

Scheduled Maintenance

In addition to unplanned incidents, Bot-Hosting schedules regular maintenance windows for server upgrades, security patches, and infrastructure improvements. Scheduled maintenance incidents are created in advance with start and end times, and the monitoring system automatically updates service status when maintenance begins and completes. Review the status dashboard for current maintenance banners and the uptime history to see past maintenance impact.
