Current Service Status Overview
The Bot-Hosting status page provides a comprehensive real-time overview of all Bot-Hosting.net infrastructure. Our uptime monitoring system checks each server, website, and database endpoint every 60 seconds from multiple geographic locations to ensure accurate and reliable status reporting. Below is a summary of the current state of all monitored Bot-Hosting services. Browse the full incident history for past outages and the uptime history archive for daily reliability data.
Monitored Websites
Bot-Hosting.net operates several web properties that are continuously monitored for uptime and performance. The main website at bot-hosting.net, the wiki, the control panel, and the advertising site are all tracked. Each website monitor checks HTTP response codes and response times to detect outages and degraded performance immediately. Each monitor card on the dashboard links to its own detail page with latency charts, uptime stats, and port history.
Free Server Nodes
Bot-Hosting provides free bot hosting across 17 server nodes located in Germany and Finland. The uptime monitoring system verifies that each free node is accessible and responding correctly to ensure reliable bot hosting for all free-tier users.
Premium Server Nodes
Premium bot hosting is available on 8 high-performance nodes in the United States and Europe. Premium nodes us1, us2, us3, eu1, eu2, eu3, and eu4 are monitored with the same checks as free nodes, providing premium Bot-Hosting users with enhanced reliability and faster response times for their Discord bots and applications.
Database Services
Bot-Hosting offers both free and premium database hosting. The free database (freedb) and professional database (prodb) services are monitored for availability and response times, ensuring that bot developers can reliably store and retrieve data for their hosted applications.
How Uptime Monitoring Works
Our status monitoring system uses a distributed architecture to check Bot-Hosting service health. HTTP monitors verify website availability by sending requests and validating response codes. ping monitors check server node health. Each check is performed every 60 seconds, and results are aggregated to calculate real-time uptime percentages and latency metrics. The system tracks response times, uptime history, and incident data to provide a complete picture of Bot-Hosting infrastructure reliability. View the daily uptime history to see how individual monitors performed on specific dates.
Incident Tracking and Resolution
When a service outage or performance issue is detected, the Bot-Hosting status system creates an incident record with severity classification and affected monitor identification. Admins provide real-time updates as the incident is investigated and resolved. The full incident timeline is visible on the incidents page, including resolution times and post-mortem details for transparency.
Uptime History and Performance Metrics
The Bot-Hosting status page maintains uptime history data, allowing users to review daily reliability trends for each monitored service. Uptime percentages, average latency measurements, and historical performance data are available for every monitor. Visit the uptime history page to explore daily snapshots and monthly uptime summaries.
Embeddable Status Widgets
Developers can embed live Bot-Hosting status information on their own websites using our iframe embeds or JavaScript widget. These widgets auto-refresh every 60 seconds and support both dark and light themes, making it easy to display real-time uptime status for any Bot-Hosting monitor. See the developer API documentation for embed code examples and configuration options.
Developer API Access
The Bot-Hosting status API provides programmatic access to all monitoring data. Developers can query current status, uptime metrics, daily history, and custom monitor data using authenticated API endpoints. Rate limiting and usage tracking ensure fair access to the API for all Bot-Hosting users and integrators. Read the full API documentation to get started, or visit the webhooks page to generate your API key.
